Buchi

Buchi appeared as a character card in the OP03-034 slot within the Pillars of Strength expansion set for the One Piece Card Game, released in 2023. The set draws its thematic inspiration from the Water 7 and East Blue story arcs, focusing on formidable antagonists and crew members who defined key battles in the series. Buchi, a member of the Black Cat Pirates, represents the early-game challenges faced by the Straw Hat crew, highlighting the game's focus on deep-cut character inclusion from throughout the manga's history.

The card's design utilizes the established visual identity of the One Piece Card Game, which leans on high-contrast illustrations and dynamic action shots taken directly from Eiichiro Oda's source material. As a card within the Green color affiliation, Buchi is framed by the set's mechanical focus on board presence and rest-based effects. It received a standard reception among players as a common-rarity utility piece intended to bolster low-cost archetypes during the expansion's competitive cycle.
