Capote

Capote, identified as card OP07-063, originates from the '500 Years in the Future' expansion set for the One Piece Card Game, released in 2024. The set focuses on the Egghead Arc, a pivotal storyline in the long-running manga and anime series where the crew encounters the futuristic island of Dr. Vegapunk. Capote, a member of the Foxy Pirates, is depicted here as a representative of the series' deep roster of secondary antagonists, reflecting the game's commitment to showcasing characters from across the entire One Piece narrative history.

The card features artwork consistent with the game’s vibrant, high-contrast aesthetic, which often adapts Eiichiro Oda's original manga panels or specialized illustrations to suit the competitive card layout. As a common-rarity character card, it serves a functional role in deck building, emphasizing the synergy between the Foxy Pirates archetype and the game's defensive mechanics. It was well-received by players focusing on thematic decks, providing a specific utility piece that honors the character’s unique appearance and abilities as established in the source material.
