Doc Q

Doc Q was released in 2024 as part of the One Piece Card Game set titled 'Black Marshall D. Teach' [ST-27]. The set was developed to highlight the members of the Blackbeard Pirates, focusing on their unique abilities and their role as the primary antagonists in the later arcs of the Eiichiro Oda series. As a character card, this piece utilizes the distinct visual style established by the game's art direction, which emphasizes dynamic framing and bold, character-focused portraiture consistent with the high-stakes narrative of the series.

The design of this specific card features Doc Q, the ship doctor of the Blackbeard Pirates, often portrayed alongside his horse, Stronger. The artwork aims to capture his unsettling, sickly aesthetic and his presence as a major threat within the world of One Piece. Like other cards in the starter deck lineup, it was designed to integrate specific mechanics that reflect the character's erratic and dangerous behavior, receiving a favorable reception from players interested in expanding their Blackbeard-themed decks.
