Dorry

The Dorry card (OP17-085) was released as part of the promotional support for the One Piece Card Game, specifically associated with The World's Strongest Warriors expansion and subsequent organized play events. These cards were designed to highlight key characters from the series' expansive narrative, with Dorry the Blue, the legendary giant warrior of Elbaf, chosen for his iconic status as a captain of the Giant Warrior Pirates. The card features artwork consistent with the game's aesthetic, which emphasizes dynamic action shots and high-fidelity illustrations that reflect the source material's manga roots.

The design strategy for this set focuses on balancing playability with collectible appeal for fans of the One Piece franchise. As a character card, Dorry's technical attributes were balanced to fit the mechanics of the game's meta during the release period, providing players with specific tactical options. Upon its arrival in the trading card game community, the card was received as a welcome addition for collectors who focus on the Giant-themed sub-archetypes, grounding the game's competitive landscape in the lore of Little Garden and the wider world of the Grand Line.
