El Thor (Premium Card Collection -Best Selection Vol. 6-)

The El Thor event card was released as part of the Premium Card Collection -Best Selection Vol. 6-, a specialized set designed to celebrate the One Piece Card Game's most iconic moments and abilities. Issued during the growth of the game's competitive scene, this card represents the signature lightning-based attack of the character Enel. The collection was curated to provide players with highly aesthetic, alternate-art versions of cards that had already solidified their utility in the meta, allowing fans to obtain visually distinct versions of essential mechanical tools.

The design of this card leans into the grand scale of the Skypiea arc, utilizing high-contrast illustrations that emphasize the overwhelming power of Enel’s Goro Goro no Mi ability. By opting for a premium holographic finish, the designers sought to elevate the event card from a simple gameplay component to a collectible piece of art. Upon its release, it was well received by the player base for both its functional relevance in yellow-themed decks and its striking visual homage to one of the series' most memorable antagonists.
