Gin

The Gin character card, designated OP12-068, was released as part of the Legacy of the Master expansion for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to revisit and celebrate foundational moments from the series, emphasizing the narrative weight of early antagonists and supporting characters who defined the protagonist's initial journey. The card serves as a tribute to the character's internal conflict and loyalty during the Baratie arc, capturing his stoic yet tragic demeanor through dynamic, high-contrast illustration.

The design of the card reflects the aesthetic standard of the OP12 set, utilizing textured foiling and a clean, minimalist layout to draw focus toward the character's signature weaponry. Critics and players noted that the card's art direction successfully avoids the clutter of some previous iterations, favoring a composition that highlights the character's intensity. Its release was received as a nostalgic inclusion for long-term fans of the series, balancing aesthetic fidelity with the mechanical requirements of the game's competitive landscape.
