Giolla

Giolla was introduced as part of the Royal Blood Release Event, a special promotional series released for the One Piece Card Game. These cards were designed to incentivize participation in organized play events, specifically following the expansion of the game's competitive circuit. The character design stays faithful to the Eiichiro Oda aesthetic, capturing the specific visual identity of the character from the source material while utilizing the distinct layout standardized for the game's character card type.

The art style and mechanical implementation for the Royal Blood series were handled by the production team at Bandai to maintain the game’s consistent visual language. These cards were received by the community as desirable collector's items, primarily due to their limited distribution through event-exclusive pools. Because they were tied to specific event windows, they serve as markers of the game’s growth and the specific meta-game environment present during that phase of its release history.
