Guard Point

The Guard Point event card, numbered ST01-014, was originally introduced in the Straw Hat Crew Starter Deck (ST-01) for the One Piece Card Game. Released as part of the game's initial launch to capture the dynamic combat of the series, this specific card features Tony Tony Chopper using his signature defensive transformation. The design focuses on mechanical utility, providing a boost to a character's power during a battle, which reflects Chopper's role as a protector within the crew.

This version of the card appearing in the PRB-01 'THE BEST' set serves as a reprint, reflecting the card's enduring popularity and essential status in deck building. The 'THE BEST' collection was designed to highlight iconic cards from the game's first year, gathering highly utilized cards with new visual treatments to commemorate the series' momentum. It remains a staple for players who value defensive efficiency and reflects the consistent design language established by the Bandai development team to balance gameplay mechanics with character-specific abilities.
