Hack

The Hack card from the Awakening of the New Era 1st Anniversary Tournament series was released to celebrate the first year of the One Piece Card Game. These cards were distributed as promotional rewards during regional tournament events, designed to honor the competitive community that grew rapidly following the game's launch in 2022. The card features Hack, the Fish-Man karate expert and Revolutionary Army officer, depicted in a unique art style intended to highlight his tactical, disciplined persona within the series.

The design of this tournament promotional series was handled by the Cardass production team at Bandai, who sought to provide players with visually distinct, high-rarity variants that were mechanically identical to their base set counterparts but featured commemorative foil stamps. Upon release, the set was well received by the player base, largely because these cards served as both functional game pieces and tangible markers of early tournament participation, effectively capturing a snapshot of the game’s first-year evolution.
