Provenance

Where it came from

The Hope event card is a pivotal entry in the Anime 25th Collection [EB-02] for the One Piece Card Game, released to commemorate a quarter-century of the long-running series. This set was designed to capture iconic moments and emotional beats from the franchise's history, providing players and collectors with thematic cards that bridge the gap between competitive utility and nostalgic narrative impact.

The card features artwork depicting a poignant scene from the series, emphasizing the artistic direction established by Bandai for the One Piece Trading Card Game. By utilizing a distinct aesthetic style that leans into the vibrant, high-energy tone of the manga and anime, the designers intended for this card to serve as a meaningful tribute to the series' enduring themes of aspiration and resilience, which was received positively by the community as a thoughtful inclusion in the special commemorative expansion.
