Howling Gab

Howling Gab, designated OP09-006, was released as part of the -EMPERORS IN THE NEW WORLD- expansion set for the One Piece Card Game. The card features the character in his role as a prominent combatant for the Red Hair Pirates, reflecting the series' focus on the crew's emergence as central figures in the ongoing narrative. The card's design emphasizes the aesthetic style established by Eiichiro Oda, utilizing thematic action art that aligns with the game's broader mechanical focus on synergy within Red-aligned decks.

The artwork for this series is developed through a collaboration between Bandai and the One Piece design team, aiming to capture the intensity of the series' transition into its final sagas. As a character card within the OP-09 set, it was created to bolster the presence of Shanks' crew members, providing players with specific strategic utility during gameplay. It was received as a functional, mid-range addition to the game's competitive ecosystem, valued primarily for its role in supporting established deck archetypes rather than as a standalone rarity piece.
