Where it came from
The 'I Never Bother to Remember the Faces of Trash' card was released as part of the Azure Sea's Seven set, a specific collection of event cards issued during a limited promotional cycle. Designed to represent pivotal narrative moments from the series, this card captures a climactic confrontation, utilizing high-contrast, atmospheric art to reflect the cold, dismissive nature of the antagonist depicted.
The card’s illustration was crafted by the lead design team behind the Azure Sea series, who aimed to emphasize the character's elitism through minimalist composition and sharp, biting linework. Upon its release, it was noted by players for its thematic resonance and specific gameplay utility, quickly becoming a sought-after piece for those curating a complete set of the event card series.
