I Never Bother to Remember the Faces of Trash

The Azure Sea's Seven series emerged during the mid-cycle expansion of the Azure Sea competitive trading card game, intended to flesh out the lore of the setting's primary antagonists. I Never Bother to Remember the Faces of Trash was designed as an event card to provide mechanical utility while highlighting the cold, dismissive nature of the collection's central figures, specifically the seventh operative who prioritizes power over individual recognition.

The artwork for this card was commissioned from a guest illustrator known for minimalist, high-contrast character design. By focusing on a singular, gloved hand dismissing an out-of-focus background figure, the design intentionally evokes a sense of detached arrogance. Within the competitive community, the card is recognized for its thematic consistency, often cited as a quintessential example of how the series used card mechanics to reinforce the disdainful personality archetypes established in the game's broader narrative.
