Where it came from
The Imu leader card, numbered OP13-079, was released as part of the Carrying On His Will expansion for the One Piece Card Game. This set focuses on the enigmatic figures and shifting power dynamics of the series' overarching lore, centering on characters who wield significant influence over the World Government and the history of the Void Century.
The design of the card mirrors the unsettling and mysterious aesthetic of the character Imu, utilizing high-contrast shadows to emphasize their hidden presence in the Empty Throne room. Illustrated by the game's production art team, the card was received by the community as a significant meta-defining addition, praised for its unique mechanics that reflect Imu's secretive control over the narrative of the series.
