Jango

The Jango character card, numbered ST06-003, was released as part of the Absolute Justice Starter Deck in the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to introduce players to the mechanics of the game's purple deck archetype, which focuses on the manipulation of Don!! cards to power up character abilities. The deck centers on themes associated with the Animal Kingdom Pirates and the various antagonists encountered by the Straw Hat Pirates throughout their journey.

The illustration for this card draws directly from the established aesthetic of Eiichiro Oda's original manga series. As an early-game card within the starter deck, it was created to provide functional utility for new players, balancing its power level with a cost that allows for early board presence. Like many cards in the initial wave of the game's release, it was received primarily as a foundational tool for deck building, valued for its role in enabling the specific strategic playstyles favored by competitive and casual players alike.
