Jewelry Bonney (Alternate Art)

Jewelry Bonney (EB02-015) was released as part of the Extra Booster: Anime 25th Collection for the One Piece Card Game, a set designed to celebrate the milestone anniversary of the long-running anime series. This card features the character Bonney, one of the 'Worst Generation' pirates, rendered in a striking alternate art style that distinguishes it from standard deck cards. The design process for these alternate cards typically focuses on high-quality thematic illustrations that capture the personality of the character, often utilizing more vibrant, dynamic, or stylized artwork than base-set versions to appeal to both players and collectors.

Within the competitive landscape of the One Piece Card Game, this card was produced to offer players strategic utility while providing collectors with a visually unique iteration of a popular character. The card's aesthetic departure from the standard game illustrations reflects the overarching philosophy of the Anime 25th Collection, which aimed to highlight iconic moments and character designs from the series history. Since its release, the card has been received as a notable addition to the game's expanding roster of alternate art collectibles, valued for its specific artistic contribution to the series' card game legacy.
