Komille

The Komille card from the Paramount War Pre-Release set was introduced as part of the second expansion for the One Piece Card Game, released to build on the momentum of the game's debut in late 2022. This specific card was distributed during pre-release events, where players received promotional packs to familiarize themselves with the new mechanics and thematic elements surrounding the Paramount War story arc. These cards are highly sought after by collectors for their unique pre-release stamps, which distinguish them from the standard base set versions.

The artwork for the card features Komille, a character from the One Piece universe, rendered in the high-contrast, dynamic style characteristic of the card game's design direction. The design team sought to emphasize the tactical utility of character cards within the game's evolving meta-game, prioritizing clear legibility of card text alongside evocative character portraiture. The set was generally well-received by the gaming community for its focus on competitive balance and its faithful adaptation of iconic narrative beats from the source material.
