LittleOars Jr.

Little Oars Jr. (OP02-020) was released as part of the Paramount War expansion for the One Piece Card Game in late 2022. This set was designed to reflect the dramatic events of the Marineford arc in the original manga and anime, focusing on the large-scale conflict between the Whitebeard Pirates and the World Government. The card depicts the hulking giant as he attempts to save his captain, Ace, capturing his tragic yet fierce dedication to his allies during the chaotic battlefield sequence.

The card was illustrated by the artists at Bandai to emphasize Oars's immense scale and durability, which is reflected in his high-cost, high-power game mechanics. Within the meta-game, it is recognized for its ability to function as a powerful red-aligned character that can sustain pressure on the board. Like many cards from the early sets of the game, it was designed with a clean, high-contrast aesthetic that mimics the action-heavy style of Eiichiro Oda’s source material, and it has since become a staple for players building decks around Whitebeard-affiliated characters.
