Monkey.D.Luffy (1st Anniversary Tournament)

The Monkey D. Luffy P-041 card was released in 2023 as a promotional item to commemorate the first anniversary of the One Piece Card Game. These cards were distributed to participants of the 1st Anniversary Tournament events held across various regions, serving as a prestigious reward for competitive players who engaged with the game during its inaugural year. The design captures a celebratory aesthetic, aligning with the milestone nature of the event and distinguishing itself from the standard set releases through its unique foil treatment and specialized event-based numbering.

The illustration maintains the classic visual style established by Eiichiro Oda, emphasizing the iconic spirit and determination of the series protagonist. Designed by the internal art team at Bandai, the card utilizes a layout intended to showcase both the character's signature look and the game's distinctive combat mechanics. Within the community, the card is widely regarded as a significant collector's piece due to its limited availability and the specific historical context of the game's rapid rise in popularity during its first year of organized play.
