Mr.2.Bon.Kurei (Bentham)

Mr. 2 Bon Kurei, also known as Bentham, was introduced in the Romance Dawn set of the One Piece Card Game as card OP01-084. Released in 2022 to coincide with the game's global launch, this card highlights the character's signature theatrical flair and his unique Okama Kenpo combat style. The card design utilizes high-contrast character art that emphasizes his flamboyant costume and dramatic posing, which serves as a central aesthetic pillar for the set's focus on iconic moments from the earlier arcs of the series.

The character design originates from Eiichiro Oda's long-running manga series, where Bentham serves as a complex antagonist-turned-ally. In the context of the game's mechanics, the card was designed to reflect his role as a versatile character within the Purple color deck, utilizing the game's cost-management systems. Upon release, the card was well-received by players for its thematic accuracy and for being a sought-after collectible among fans of the Alabasta arc, cementing its place as a staple representation of the character in modern trading card culture.
