Mr.2.Bon.Kurei (Bentham)

This card, designated OP02-064, was released in the Paramount War expansion of the One Piece Card Game, which hit shelves in 2022. The set focused on the climactic Marineford Arc, a pivotal moment in the series where Mr. 2 Bon Kurei plays a heroic role in facilitating Luffy’s escape from Impel Down. The card’s design reflects his distinct personality and his unique Mane Mane no Mi ability, serving as a tactical piece that captures his flair for performance and his surprising depth as a character.

The artwork follows the game's standard of blending dynamic character poses with the high-energy aesthetic consistent with Eiichiro Oda’s source material. Like other cards in the Paramount War set, it was intended to bridge the gap between collectors and competitive players, offering fans a playable representation of a fan-favorite antagonist-turned-ally. Upon its release, the card was well-received by players for its utility in the Blue deck archetype, becoming a staple for those looking to manipulate board states during matches.
