Mr.3(Galdino) (Alternate Art)

The Mr. 3 (Galdino) alternate art card, designated OP06-056, was released as part of the sixth expansion set for the One Piece Card Game, titled 'Wings of the Captain' (often associated with the era of The Time of Battle). It features the character Galdino, a former Baroque Works officer, rendered in a stylized, high-contrast illustration typical of the game's collectible alternate art tier. This design approach seeks to emphasize the character's unique Wax-Wax Fruit abilities, using dramatic shading to distinguish it from the standard character card.

The design follows the game’s tradition of reimagining classic antagonists through modern digital illustration techniques. Upon its release, this card was received primarily by collectors focused on the 'Impel Down' or 'Baroque Works' character archetypes. Its aesthetic choice prioritizes a moody, villainous atmosphere, reflecting Galdino's calculated and deceptive nature as depicted in the original manga series. It remains a notable example of how the card game translates legacy One Piece characters into a refined, contemporary card art format.
