Nico Robin

The Nico Robin card, numbered OP02-037, was released as part of the Paramount War expansion for the One Piece Card Game in early 2023. This set was designed to reflect the dramatic narrative of the Summit War of Marineford arc, bringing iconic characters from that storyline into the burgeoning trading card game ecosystem. As a character card within this set, Robin serves as a functional piece of gameplay strategy, featuring artwork that captures her distinct aesthetic and role as the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates.

The visual design of the card utilizes the established art style of the One Piece trading card game, which blends Eiichiro Oda’s character designs with a layout optimized for competitive play. Cards in the Paramount War set were crafted to balance thematic resonance with the tactical requirements of the game’s resource and combat systems. Upon release, the set was well-received by players and collectors for expanding the card pool and providing key support for various color-coded deck archetypes, cementing its place in the game's early developmental history.
