Sanji (Alternate Art)

The Sanji card (OP06-119) from the Wings of the Captain set, released in 2024, is part of the One Piece Card Game’s ongoing expansion series. This specific card represents the character Sanji in his post-timeskip iteration, drawing directly from the aesthetic established in Eiichiro Oda’s long-running manga. The set focuses heavily on themes and characters central to the series' narrative arcs, aiming to provide players and collectors with high-quality representations of fan-favorite personalities through dynamic, game-integrated artwork.

The alternate art version of this card is distinguished by its unique illustration style, which deviates from the standard character card layout to showcase a more cinematic or stylized depiction of the subject. These alternate art variants are highly sought after by collectors for their limited availability and the artistic creative license given to the illustrators, who often emphasize the character’s personality and iconic role in the series. Upon release, the set was received favorably by the trading card game community, largely due to the balanced gameplay mechanics and the high production value of the rare card illustrations.
