Schneider

Schneider is a character card featured in the Wings of the Captain expansion set, released in 2024 as part of the One Piece Card Game. The card is designed to reflect the tactical and thematic elements of the Egghead Arc, capturing the essence of the characters introduced during the Straw Hat Pirates' encounter on the futuristic island. The artistic direction emphasizes the clean, high-tech aesthetic associated with the setting, utilizing the card game's signature layout to highlight the character's specific combat abilities.

The card was produced by Bandai as part of their ongoing effort to integrate the latest narrative developments of the One Piece manga into the competitive card game landscape. Illustrators working on this set aimed to maintain visual consistency with Eiichiro Oda's character designs while ensuring the card remained mechanically distinct for gameplay. Upon its release, the card was received as a functional piece of the red-attribute deck strategy, favored by players looking to bolster their roster with efficient lower-cost characters.
