Spandam

The Spandam character card, numbered OP07-086, was released as part of the 500 Years in the Future expansion set for the One Piece Card Game in early 2024. The set focuses heavily on the Egghead Arc, reflecting the series' narrative shift toward the mysteries of Dr. Vegapunk and the World Government's escalating intervention. As a character card representing the CP9 and CP0 agent, this piece serves as a tactical utility card within the purple deck archetype, emphasizing his role as an opportunistic bureaucrat within the series lore.

The card’s design features official Eiichiro Oda character art, consistent with the high-fidelity aesthetic established by Bandai for the One Piece trading card line. The illustration captures Spandam’s signature arrogance, rendered in the clean, dynamic style familiar to followers of the manga. Reception among players has focused on its mechanical synergy within meta-relevant decks, rather than its status as a high-value rarity, making it a functional cornerstone for collectors focused on completing the set’s roster of antagonists.
