Sugar

Sugar is a character card from the -ROYAL BLOOD- set, released as part of the tenth expansion of the One Piece Card Game. This set primarily draws its thematic inspiration from the Dressrosa arc of the manga and anime, specifically focusing on the Donquixote Pirates and their influence over the kingdom. The card was designed to reflect the character's unique 'Hobby-Hobby Fruit' abilities, which allow her to transform people into toys, a mechanic represented through the game's strategic control elements.

The illustration maintains the standardized, high-energy aesthetic consistent with the One Piece trading card line, emphasizing her deceptive appearance of a young child contrasted with her menacing role in the series. As with other cards in the -ROYAL BLOOD- set, it was developed by Bandai to expand competitive deck-building options, and it was received by the player community as a potent utility piece due to its specific ability to neutralize opposing character cards.
