Where it came from
Released as part of the 'Royal Blood' expansion for the One Piece Card Game, this event card references the pivotal conclusion of the Warlord system within the series narrative. The card captures a turning point in the World Government's geopolitical strategy, where the long-standing Seven Warlords were officially disbanded following the events at the Reverie. It serves as a mechanical representation of this power shift within the game's evolving meta.
The card's design aesthetic adheres to the high-contrast, action-oriented art style established for the OP-10 set. By utilizing iconic imagery from the source material, the design team aimed to evoke the gravity of the decision made by the world's monarchs. Upon its release, players noted its utility in board control scenarios, making it a functional staple for decks centered around characters aligned with the Navy or the World Government.
