Thunder Bolt

The Thunder Bolt event card, originally debuting in the Pillars of Strength [OP03] expansion, was later reprinted in the ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST [PRB-01] set. This collection was designed as a retrospective highlight, gathering iconic and highly functional cards from the game's first few sets to provide players with renewed access to essential deck staples. The card itself draws directly from the source material, depicting Enel’s signature lightning-based attack, a visual choice that emphasizes the high-impact nature of event cards within the game's tactical flow.

The design of the card focuses on utility and thematic consistency, serving as a powerful removal tool that reflects the explosive energy of the Skypiea arc. As part of the PRB-01 set, the card features updated foiling techniques intended to elevate its aesthetic appeal compared to its original printing. Within the competitive community, the card is recognized for its efficient cost-to-effect ratio, making it a recurring presence in deck lists that utilize the yellow color identity, which centers on life-manipulation mechanics.
