Uta

The Uta card, designated OP01-005, was released as part of the GIFT COLLECTION 2023 [GC-01] for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed as a specialized commemorative product, specifically highlighting the character Uta, who gained significant popularity following her central role in the 2022 film One Piece Film: Red. The collection serves to bridge the gap between the film's cinematic release and the expanding trading card game ecosystem, offering fans a tangible piece of merchandise centered on a character whose presence in the franchise became a cultural phenomenon.

The aesthetic of this card reflects the stylized, vibrant art direction associated with the One Piece Card Game, prioritizing dynamic illustrations that capture the character's musical and energetic essence from the film. By incorporating Uta into the card game's mechanics, the designers aimed to provide players with a character-driven experience that resonates with fans of her performance. The card was received as a key addition for both competitive players and collectors of the series, marking a moment where franchise multimedia synergy directly influenced game set architecture.
