Vista

The Vista card, designated OP14-053, is part of the Azure Sea's Seven expansion, a set designed to evoke the aesthetic of high-fantasy maritime exploration. Released as part of an organized play initiative, the set sought to provide players with characters that focused on utility and board control rather than raw combat power, reflecting a shift in the game's competitive landscape toward strategic resource management.

The character's illustration was crafted to lean into a minimalist, ethereal visual language, utilizing a palette of deep teals and soft whites to distinguish it from the more aggressive, vibrant designs prevalent in earlier sets. Upon its release, the card was well-received by tactical players who appreciated its unique ability to disrupt opponent placements, though its understated art style initially drew mixed reactions from collectors who favored the more bombastic designs of the core series.
