X.Drake

The ST02-014 X.Drake card was released in 2022 as part of the initial wave of the One Piece Card Game, specifically within the Worst Generation Starter Deck. This deck was designed to introduce players to the mechanics of the game, focusing on the tactical diversity of the characters known as the Worst Generation, a group of prominent pirate captains introduced in the source material who play a central role in the narrative. The card serves as a staple for deck-building, utilizing the game's color-coded system to integrate with the synergy-heavy strategies inherent to the green-colored starter decks.

The card features an illustration of X.Drake, a former Marine who leads the Drake Pirates. The design reflects the character's dual nature as a rogue pirate and a deep-cover operative, capturing his stoic expression and signature gear. The artwork aligns with the game's aesthetic goal of balancing high-fidelity character representation with the functional layout required for TCG gameplay. Upon its release, it was well-received by players for its consistent performance in early competitive formats, where its cost and ability efficiency made it a reliable choice for players mastering the game's foundational mechanics.
