What it does
Once during your turn, if this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, you may look at the top 2 cards of your deck and put 1 of them into your hand. Put the other card in the Lost Zone.
Comfey picks flowers with its vine and decorates itself with them. For some reason, flowers won't wither once they're attached to a Comfey.

Where it came from
The Comfey card, numbered SWSH242, was released in 2022 as part of the Sword & Shield Black Star Promos set. This card was distributed internationally through the Lost Origin Build & Battle Box, a product designed to introduce players to the mechanics of the then-current expansion. It features the signature artwork of sowsow, an illustrator known for a distinct, soft-focus, and whimsical aesthetic that frequently highlights the gentle personality of Pokémon species.
Within the competitive landscape of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, this specific card gained significant attention for its 'Flower Selecting' ability. This mechanic allowed players to look at the top two cards of their deck and add one to their hand, a utility that became a cornerstone for the 'Lost Zone' archetype. Because of its functional importance in high-level play, the card transcended its status as a simple promotional release to become a staple component in tournament-winning decks.
