What it does
Discard a Supporter card from your hand. If you do, use the effect of that card as the effect of this attack.
Choose 2 of your opponent's Pokémon and put 2 damage counters on each of them.
Although it's a quiet, lonely Pokémon, if you try to look at what's under its rag, it will become agitated and resist violently.

Where it came from
Mimikyu 96/236 was released as part of the Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion Cosmic Eclipse, which debuted in late 2019. This set served as the final major expansion of the Sun & Moon era, drawing heavily from the themes of the Alola region and focusing on the dynamic relationships between Pokémon and their trainers. As a psychic-type uncommon card, it features Mimikyu, a Ghost/Fairy-type Pokémon that disguises itself to emulate Pikachu, reflecting the character's core lore of seeking affection while fearing direct human contact.
The card’s illustration was handled by artist kirisAki, who is known for a clean, expressive style that captures the whimsical yet slightly melancholy nature of the Pokémon. In the context of the Cosmic Eclipse set, this card was designed to function within the standard gameplay mechanics of the era, providing players with accessible psychic-type support. It was well-received by collectors and players alike for its thematic consistency with the set's broader exploration of the bonds formed between Pokémon and their partners.
