Pelipper δ

Pelipper δ (26/100) was released in 2006 as part of the EX Crystal Guardians expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This set introduced the Delta Species mechanic, which reimagined Pokémon with different elemental types than they traditionally held in the video games. The design aesthetic of the era focused on showcasing these creatures in unconventional environments, often highlighting the experimental nature of the Holon research tower lore that defined the Delta Species sub-series.

The card features artwork by illustrator Mitsuhiro Arita, a staple artist of the TCG since its inception. Arita utilized his characteristic style to depict Pelipper with a metallic, electric-type sheen, emphasizing the altered elemental properties that defined the Delta Species cards.
