Plasma Energy

The Plasma Energy card was released in the 2013 Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion titled Plasma Freeze. This set was part of the Black & White series, which centered on the narrative of Team Plasma, an antagonistic organization in the Unova region that utilized specialized, technologically augmented Pokémon. The energy card was introduced to provide a unique mechanical support system for these specific cards, reflecting the Team Plasma motif in both its distinct aesthetic and its functional role within the game's competitive environment.

The design of the card leans heavily into the futuristic, cold aesthetic associated with the Team Plasma faction. It features the signature blue and silver color palette and the angular, stylized Team Plasma logo that distinguishes these cards from standard energy cards.
