Bhaya Ho Bhaya / Family Planning Ke Baja Bajawat / Baal Baacha Ke Bojh Bhari / Barhawela Pariwar Kahe Bhaya

This extended play record was produced in Mauritius under the auspices of the Family Planning Association (FPA) to promote reproductive health and population management awareness. Released during an era when such organizations utilized folk-inspired music and local dialects as effective vehicles for public information campaigns, the tracks serve as educational narratives disguised within traditional musical arrangements.

The compositions, featuring artists C. Ramgoolam, J. Prosun, and M. Beedessee, were carefully curated to resonate with the local Mauritian population, utilizing themes of family economic stability and health to communicate sensitive social policies. The record stands as a distinct artifact of mid-20th-century development communication, reflecting the creative efforts of international aid initiatives to integrate community-driven performance art into secular social agendas.
