Where it came from
Released by the experimental label Psych.KG, this record stands as a quintessential artifact of the German avant-garde and noise art scene. Produced by a collaborative collective including Jürgen Schneider, Softday, Jonathan Meese, Kommissar Hjuler, and Mama Bär, the work fits into an ongoing project that blends sound performance with conceptual art. It emerged from the specific orbit of the Kommissar Hjuler & Mama Bär artistic circle, a duo known for their prolific output of limited-edition records that challenge traditional notions of music and auditory documentation.
The conceptual framing of the item, referencing a fictionalized 'Meeseversum' and the fallout of Kepler 452b, reflects Jonathan Meese’s idiosyncratic mythology and his penchant for total installation art. By incorporating improvised noise, spoken word elements, and abstract soundscapes, the collaborators sought to create a sonic environment that defies linear narrative, instead favoring a chaotic, immersive experience. It is a niche collectible, produced in limited quantities for a dedicated audience that values the intersection of visual art, sound poetry, and absurdist creative philosophy.
