Érzem, Szebb Ma Minden / Régiségbolt

Released in 1971 on the state-owned Pepita label, this single represents a period of significant activity for the Hungarian band Bergendy. During the early 1970s, the group transitioned from a jazz-influenced ensemble into one of Hungary's most popular pop-rock acts, often blending sophisticated arrangements with the accessible melodies favored by the era's music industry. This record features two tracks that reflect the band's versatility in navigating the pop landscape under the oversight of the centralized Qualiton recording house.

The aesthetic and production of Pepita releases during this time were characterized by standardized, clean label designs that prioritized clarity and information over elaborate cover art. As a typical 7-inch release, it was designed to appeal to the growing youth market in Budapest that sought contemporary sounds within the limitations of the socialist cultural framework. It is regarded by collectors today as a slice of early 1970s Hungarian pop history, documenting the band's creative output just before they achieved widespread commercial dominance.
