Where it came from
Released in 1984 under the Productos Especiales CBS imprint, this record represents a niche intersection of Spanish-language spoken word and poetic performance. The album was produced as part of a series intended for specific cultural and educational markets, focusing on the intimate delivery of verse. At the time of its release, the project served as an example of major labels diversifying their catalogs to include regional artistic expressions that fell outside the standard pop and rock spheres of mid-1980s Spain.
The design and presentation of the sleeve reflect the minimalist aesthetic common to budget-conscious specialized releases of the era. The production prioritized the clarity of the recording over elaborate packaging, aiming to provide a direct, unadorned experience for the listener. While the record did not achieve widespread commercial success, it remains a documented entry in the expansive CBS discography, preserved today primarily by collectors of Spanish poetic archives and spoken-word media.
