Everybody In The House (Chill) / For The Hip-Hop Fans

Released in 1992 on the independent label Rock-On Productions, this 12-inch single represents the burgeoning era of regional hip-hop production that flourished outside of the major label machine. The record was crafted during a time when DIY labels were essential for getting club-ready tracks into the hands of local DJs, specifically targeting the breakbeat and early hip-house movements that bridged the gap between street-level rap and dancefloor energy.

The design and production of this release were focused on utilitarian impact, emphasizing punchy, sample-heavy percussion designed to cut through the noise of crowded venues. While K-B Rock remained a niche figure within the underground circuit, the production style reflects the raw, unpolished aesthetic of early nineties independent rap, serving as a testament to the period’s experimentation with electronic textures and vocal layering.
