Released by the Belgian label Eufoda, this collection serves as a commemorative tribute to the literary work of Flemish poet Guido Gezelle and the compositions of Edgar Tinel. Eufoda, an imprint of the Davidsfonds cultural organization, focused heavily on preserving and disseminating Flemish cultural heritage through high-quality recordings of classical and folk-rooted music during the mid-20th century.

The production features the Kortrijks Gemengd Koor under the direction of Herman Roelstraete, with participation by Luc Goosen. The project was designed to bridge the gap between Gezelle’s lyrical verse and Tinel’s musical interpretations, providing a structured sonic archive for academic and enthusiast study.
