Is It Love / Party Up (Uh-Uuh-uh)

Released in 1994 under the G's Factory label, this 12-inch single represents a specific slice of the mid-1990s dance and Eurobeat landscape. The record was produced for the Japanese market, where the high-energy production style of the era found a dedicated following in clubs and through import-heavy record shops. It serves as a document of the global circulation of electronic dance music, capturing the synthesis of pop hooks and club-ready rhythms that defined the label's aesthetic during the mid-nineties.

The release features Superfly and Powersound, two entities operating within the specialized ecosystem of studio-based dance projects common at the time. The design of the release, identified by the catalog number XDJL 93077, prioritizes functional utility for DJs, featuring extended mixes and instrumental tracks intended for mixing. Like many records from this niche, its value today rests in its role as a preservation of a transient moment in dance music history, highlighting the vibrant, if ephemeral, creative output of G's Factory during the period.
