Magia No Olhar / Pisou Na Bola

Released in 1987 under the Acervo label, this seven-inch single represents a specific slice of the late 1980s Brazilian pop landscape. Elizabeth Viana’s work during this era often leaned into the upbeat, synth-driven aesthetics that characterized the period's regional commercial music scene, capturing the transition toward modern pop production techniques in Brazil.

The record serves as a modest artifact of the independent and secondary label circuit of the late 1980s, functioning as a promotional tool for regional radio airplay. While Viana remains a niche figure in the broader scope of Brazilian music history, the production choices on these tracks reflect a deliberate attempt to align with the radio-friendly sound palettes popular in South American markets during the mid-to-late eighties.
