Provenance

Where it came from

Released in 1987 by the Swedish label Ton Art, Ojaneminemejtane Ojanedå serves as a unique musical storytelling project centered on the collaborations between actor Thomas von Brömssen and composer Lars-Eric Brossner. The production reflects the whimsical, often theatrical output common in Swedish children's and light entertainment media during the late 1980s, prioritizing narrative engagement and evocative musical arrangements that lean into the duo's established rapport.

The album is noted for its experimental approach to the 'vissaga' or 'song-tale' format, blending spoken word elements with composed pieces. While details regarding the specific illustrators of the cover art remain sparse in general archives, the aesthetic follows the minimalist and conceptual graphic design sensibilities prevalent in independent Swedish record production of that decade, aiming for an intimate, storybook-like quality that complements the auditory experience.
