Omer Et Le Fils De L'Etoile - Chansons Originales Du Feuilleton Télévisé

This vinyl release serves as the official soundtrack for the French science fiction animated series Omer et le fils de l'étoile, which aired in the early 1990s. The show was notable for its distinct visual style and environmental themes, reflecting a period when French television was heavily invested in imaginative, youth-oriented space operas. This album compiles the original songs from the series, capturing the synth-heavy, melodic aesthetic characteristic of the era's children's programming.

The musical composition for the series was a collaborative effort involving artists like Grégory Ken, Séverine Denis, and Bobby Helms. These contributors aimed to create an atmospheric soundscape that mirrored the series' themes of adventure and cosmic travel. Upon release, the soundtrack was marketed primarily as a tie-in product for younger viewers, though it has since become a modest point of interest for collectors of 1990s French media and animation soundtracks.
