Ponymusical / Storie E Musiche Dall'Arcobaleno Dei Miominipony

Released in 1985 by Hasbro Bradley, this Italian-language musical narrative was crafted to capitalize on the growing international popularity of the My Little Pony brand. During this era, Hasbro utilized local licensing deals to distribute localized content, allowing characters and stories to resonate with children in non-English speaking markets. The production serves as a time capsule of the brand's mid-eighties expansion, prioritizing catchy, synth-driven melodies that mirrored the tone of the concurrently airing animated television series.

Marco Lamioni directed the production, focusing on a bright, whimsical aesthetic that aligned with the My Little Pony visual identity. The musical arrangements were designed to be upbeat and accessible to a young audience, featuring narration interspersed with songs that emphasized themes of friendship and magic. The record was received as a functional promotional tool for the toy line, valued today primarily by collectors of international animation music and 1980s memorabilia for its unique cultural framing of the Hasbro franchise.
