Suite F-dur Für 2 Hörner, 2 Oboen Und Streichorchester / Concerto Gross A Quattro Chor D-dur / Sinfonie Nr. 88 G-dur

Released in 1967 on the East German ETERNA label, this recording showcases a selection of Baroque and Classical repertoire featuring works by Georg Philipp Telemann, Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel, and Joseph Haydn. It was produced under the VEB Deutsche Schallplatten imprint, which served as the primary state-owned record company in the German Democratic Republic, aimed at providing high-fidelity access to both historical masterworks and contemporary performances for the public.

The production features the Radio Chamber Orchestra of Berlin, conducted by Richard Schumacher. The release is emblematic of the label's mission to curate rigorous, scholarly-minded interpretations of 18th-century compositions. ETERNA releases from this era are noted for their distinctive minimalist cover art and focus on preserving the Central European musical tradition, serving as a vital archive for the regional orchestral sound of the mid-20th century.
