Zonder Zon / Alles Zal Verdwijnen (Alles Geht Vorüber)

Released in 1971 on the Decca label, this single by the Johnny F. Trio represents a specific period in the Dutch recording industry, characterized by the label's efforts to capitalize on both local market preferences and international schlager trends. The release features the tracks Zonder Zon and Alles Zal Verdwijnen, the latter of which was also recorded in German as Alles Geht Vorüber, indicating a strategic attempt to appeal to the broader continental European market common among label artists of that era.

As a catalog entry in the 6100 045 series, the record reflects the standard production aesthetics of early 1970s pop-folk music in the Netherlands. While the Johnny F. Trio operated within the professional framework of major labels like Decca, they were part of a transient landscape of session-led acts. The design and sound were intended to bridge the gap between regional radio airplay and light entertainment programming, though the group remained a relatively minor footnote in the extensive Decca discography.
