Ally of Justice Catastor was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2009 as part of the debut Hidden Arsenal booster set. Developed by Konami, the Ally of Justice archetype was designed with a thematic focus on fighting against Light-attribute monsters, reflecting the internal narrative conflict between machine-type mechanical forces and the celestial Lightsworn faction.
